International Toy Fair - largest toy fair in the world
The International Toy Fair Nuremberg (Nürnberger Spielwarenmesse) is the world's largest toy fair. Visitors are trade visitors from the toy industry, members of the press and invited guests. The incumbent Bavarian Minister President, who is a patron too, opens the six-day trade exhibition every year at the beginning of February. Approximately 2,700 exhibitors from about 60 countries present their new products at the trade exhibition. In 2014, the trade exhibition attracted around 76,000 retailers and buyers, 56 percent came from abroad. The organizer of the International Toy Fair is "Spielwarenmesse eG", based in Nuremberg.
BIOFACH
BIOFACH is the world's largest trade exhibition and the world's leading trade fair for organic consumer goods for more than a decade. It is held every year in February at the exhibition center of the city of Nuremberg. The organizer of BIOFACH is the Nuremberg Trade Exhibition. The fair is organized under the auspices of IFOAM. Since 2007, the natural cosmetics sector has been consolidated in the independent trade exhibition Vivaness. BIOFACH was established in 1990 by the exhibition organizers Hubert Rottner and Hagen Sunder. In 2001, Messe Nuremberg acquired the event rights to the trade exhibition. Only trade visitors are admitted.
Interzoo
Interzoo is the world' s biggest trade exhibition for pet supplies. The trade exhibition is organized every two years in May by the Wirtschaftsgemeinschaft Zoologischer Fachbetriebe GmbH (WZF), a subsidiary of the Zentralverband Zoologischer Fachbetriebe (German Pet Trade Association) at the Nuremberg Exhibition Center. The conceptual sponsor is the Zentralverband Zoologischer Fachbetriebe e. V. (ZZF). Nuremberg Messe has been commissioned to organize and stage the trade exhibition since the 20th Interzoo in 1988.
