Trade exhibition Cologne

Art Cologne is the world's oldest art fair. It is held annually and was launched in 1967 on the initiative of gallery owners Hein Stünke and Rudolf Zwirner as the "Cologne Art Market" in Cologne's Gürzenich. The art fair's business model combines art exhibition, trading place and forum of art.

Gamescom in Germany is the world's largest trade exhibition for consumer electronics, especially video and computer games, when it comes to exhibition space and numbers of visitors. A large number of manufacturers from all over the world present new entertainment software and hardware. The trade exhibition consists of a closed part for the general public and a closed part for trade visitors such as retailers, journalists and developers, which includes trade conferences such as the Game Developers Conference Europe.

Intermot is regarded as the world's second largest trade exhibition after EICMA in Milan for motorized two-wheelers and has been held biennially since 1998. It was formed by splitting off the motorcycle section from the International Bicycle and Motorcycle Exhibition IFMA in Cologne and was organized by the trade exhibition in Munich from 1998 to 2004.

This trade exhibition for the furniture industry is called interzum. It takes place every two years in May. During four days, about 1,400 exhibitors from 60 nations have the opportunity to show the developments, products and technologies in the supplier industry within nine halls.

The international trade world of the baby and toddler outfitting sector meets at Kind + Jugend every year in September. More than 1,200 exhibitors show the latest trends, innovations and products for babies and toddlers up to school-entry age to the trade, around 75% come from abroad. It was founded in 1960 as the Baby trade exhibition.

photokina is the world's most important trade exhibition for photography and is regarded as the leading trade fair for the photo and imaging industry. At photokina, around 1,600 suppliers from 50 countries will be showing their products and services on an area of around 200,000 square meters - with relatively minor variations. In the years 2002 and 2004, the organizer recorded around 160,000 trade show visitors. During the entire duration of the trade exhibition, trade visitors and the public will find a variety of lectures and discussion sessions in the congress program.
