drupa is the world's largest print media trade exhibition. It is regarded as the most important exhibition of the printing and print media industry. The drupa trade show covers printing and media prepress, presses, bookbinding/finishing, paper converting, materials/consumables and associated services. Additionally, there are also numerous special shows and informative events such as the "drupa Innovation parc" and de "cube"; these primarily present topics related to workflow, standards or, more generally, the effects of digitization.

GDS - International Shoe Fair takes place in Dusseldorf, Germany and is organized by the trade exhibition company Messe Dusseldorf. GDS takes place twice a year: In spring and in fall. The exhibition offerings of approximately 3,000 international exhibitors include machinery and equipment, raw and auxiliary materials, as well as semi-finished products, technical parts and reinforced plastic products. The leading Dusseldorf K trade exhibition is supplemented by a supporting program with special shows.

ProWein is a major international trade exhibition for wine and spirits. The wine fair has been taking place every March since 1994. The trade exhibition focuses on tasting, in contrast to the competing wine fairs in Bordeaux (Vinexpo) or Verona (Vinitaly). The trade exhibition had 3395 exhibitors from 51 countries in 2010, who presented their offer to 36,417 visitors.
